Technical description (PDF, 371 KB)Fast gassing
With a "gas injection stirrer",
gas entry and saturation of the medium are handled more quickly than with conventional agitation systems. The results: substantially shorter reaction times for heterogeneous catalysis. This effect is enhanced still further by the possibility of an agitator baffle. The effect in detail
With right-handed rotation, a vacuum is created behind the 45-degree bevels of the propeller. This vacuum causes an enormous suction force, so the gas is forced quickly out of the gas area into the medium via the hollow shaft.
